Introducing: The Ashkalon from Arcana Universalis

In other news, the second part of Arcana Universalis is nearing completion! And to think, it’s only… errr… 4-5 months behind schedule.

To whet your appetite while you wait, I thought I’d share a bit of promotional art from the project. This is my rough design for the Imperial Dragonslayer Ashkalon, the ship which our hero is stationed aboard during most of the story. It’s not exactly a finished work (there’s a bit more to be done in the modeling, and a ton of texture work waiting to be started), but it should give you a good idea of the shape of the ship. The model was created and rendered in Blender, with post-production done in Adobe Photoshop.
